When looking through magazines and watching shows on TV, we always see these models, or actors and actresses who have beautiful bodies, you know, the tight stomach, chiselled abs, toned muscles, and all that. And we often find ourselves wishing that we had bodies like theirs too.

But when you are a woman with a busy schedule at work, school, or looking after your family, it is rather hard to find time to devote on keeping a healthy and fit body, especially because unlike those actors and actresses, most of us don?t usually have an army of personal trainers and diet specialists directing our every move.

And although this really is the reality for most women out there, we must not forget that keeping a healthy body isn?t a perk or privilege, it is a necessity if you want to stay away from sickness and live a life of better quality.

So no matter how hectic your schedule can get, you owe it to yourself to set aside a couple of hours a week to attend to your body. Fitness for women does not need to be a complex and time consuming activity, a simple round of basic stretching exercises and an easy cardio program is not going to take more than a few minutes off your daily timetable.

And if it is possible to spare an hour or so on weekends and on your day off from work, you could also visit a fitness gym for a more rigorous workout, and to obtain additional tips about exercise and proper diet from your gym instructors and buddies.

Now that you have a plan in mind, do not forget that consistency is one of the most crucial factors when dealing with fitness for women. And if you want to see results, you must be prepared to be consistent.

Don?t let your determination for fitness fizzle out after a few days or weeks, or when your busy schedule takes a turn for the worse. Take conscious steps to make your exercise and proper diet regimen a vital part of your daily routine.

The key is to have a simple regimen or system that will be easy to follow, and to find enough motivation to stick to the plan.
